I started my own backyard garden two years ago. It was fun but I admit I’m a lazy gardener. Traditional soil-based gardening requires a significant about of manual labor to keep the garden clear of weeds and pests, as well as to fertilize and water the plants. I then explored hydroponics but it is no easy feat either. Hydroponics requires careful monitoring and concoction of expensive nutrient solution, which feels as though I am feeding the plants some kind of chemical soup!
It was only recently that I found out about Aquaponics. I have now successfully set up my own aquaponics garden in my own backyard, and I’m looking for more ways and tactics to increase the yield of my aquaponics garden. I’m very excited to share what I know with you, so that you can replicate my efforts and become your own organic farmer!
